Crypt of the NecroDancer is an indie roguelike game. You control Cadence, who is searching for her missing father. During the search, she falls into a crypt, where the NecroDancer steals Cadence’s heart. You can’t do anything without following the music’s beat. If you miss the beat, you don’t get any harm, but the score is reset to zero. The game is a rhythm game, so having the characters be able to do anything only as the music beats makes it a rhythm game.

Your goal is to find both your heart and your father. You have to explore a procedurally generated underground dungeon to get new items and equipment. The dungeon is full of new weapons, items, and equipment.
